Three companies – Atlantis, The Palm and Moët & Chandon – came together with the common goal of setting a new world record.

They decided to create the world's largest pyramid of glasses filled with champagne.

The team worked for 55 hours over 5 days.

During the construction of the pyramid, 54,740 glasses of champagne were used - from this number of glasses, a structure with a height of 8.23 meters was created.

According to Timothy Kelly, executive vice president and managing director of Atlantis Resorts and Residences, the champagne tower is a beacon of grandeur and generosity.

Laurent Dominguez, General Manager of Moët Hennessy Middle-East, also said a few words about the record, calling the champagne pyramids a symbol of celebration and generosity.

It was decided not to touch the glass pyramid until January 1, 2022, in order to hold a New Year's gala dinner.

They were then recycled and turned into glassware for the Atlantis The Palm hotel.

Earlier, BelNovosti wrote about why Roy Kirby got into the Guinness Book of Records.
