The title of the largest corkscrew belongs to the creation of British inventor Rob Higgs.

By the way, the device is also considered the most expensive, as well as the most useless - according to people who do not see the point in a corkscrew of such size, but first things first.

Higgs built the device from a pile of iron, if not to say trash.

And this is not an exaggeration - more than 300 elements included in the machine were obtained from landfills and garbage containers.

In addition, the inventor needed a considerable supply of enthusiasm, since the work lasted for four years.

The weight of the resulting machine was 350 kg. The corkscrew is 165 cm high and 150 cm long.

Rob figured a fair price for the structure would be just over $120,000.

With the help of a corkscrew you can not only open a sealed bottle of wine, but also pour the drink - to do this you need to rotate the drive wheel of the mechanism.

Earlier we talked about the most dangerous product for the heart and blood vessels.
