Moldovan collector Petr Kostin entered the Guinness Book of Records.

The reason was his huge collection of horseshoes, consisting of 13,855 pieces.

What is noteworthy is that Kostin set the record back in 2011.

Ten years later, by the time the new achievement was registered, the number of exhibits had increased by 3,200 and reached 13,855 units.

Kostin serves as a colonel in the Customs Service. All the horseshoes in his collection come from different parts of Moldova, from the south to the north.

The collection also includes ancient items, such as horseshoes from cavalry units during World War I. The oldest exhibits are over 700 years old.

The enthusiast collects a wide variety of items throughout his life.

His collection includes keys, rare books, statues, military uniforms, flags, weapons, including medieval ones, and even helicopters.
