Zelensky said Scholz told him details of conversation with Putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he spoke on the phone with German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz, who told him the details of his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The statement of the head of the Ukrainian state was published on his Telegram channel.

What Zelensky and Scholz discussed

According to Zelensky, he and the German Chancellor discussed what steps would help strengthen Ukraine.

The head of the Ukrainian state stressed the importance of increasing pressure on Russia to force it to real peace.

The German Chancellor spoke about the details of his call to Putin, the Ukrainian President reported.

The first telephone conversation between Scholz and Putin since December 2022 took place on November 15 at the initiative of the German side.

Following the conversation, the Kremlin press service reported that the German Chancellor and the Russian President discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, and bilateral relations.

The last face-to-face meeting between Putin and Scholz took place on February 15, 2022 in Moscow.
