"The strike's objective has been achieved. All objects have been hit." The Russian Defense Ministry has declared retaliation for Kiev's use of ATACMS
On Friday, December 13, information emerged about a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed this information, noting that it was a response to Kiev’s use of long-range American ATACMS missiles.
As the press service of the department reported on its official Telegram channel, on December 11, 6 such missiles were launched from the territory of Ukraine at a military airfield near Taganrog.
In response to these actions, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive attack on December 13.
The military used long-range precision weapons – they struck from the air and sea, and also deployed attack UAVs.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the target of the strike was “critically important” fuel and energy infrastructure facilities for the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
The strike's objective was achieved. All objects were hit, the ministry said in a statement.
