The Kremlin commented on the data on losses in Russia and Ukraine announced by US President-elect Donald Trump.
Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that the real figures are completely different.
The statement by the Kremlin representative is quoted by TASS .
The US president-elect said Russia had lost 600,000 troops killed and wounded in the conflict, while Ukraine had lost 400,000 troops and "many more civilians."
Zelensky and Ukraine would like to make a deal and stop this crazy conflict, Trump wrote on his social network Truth Social.
He also said that he knows Russian President Vladimir Putin well and “now is his time to act,” and China “can help.”
A Kremlin spokesman stated that the data provided by the US President-elect on the losses of the parties to the conflict are presented in the Ukrainian interpretation and reflect the official position of Kyiv, while the real figures are completely different.
Ukrainian losses are many times greater than losses on the Russian side, added the Russian president’s press secretary.
