Journalists asked Miller whether Washington is ready to support negotiations on Ukraine.
If Zelensky decides that he wants to start negotiations, we would, of course, support this, ” the representative of the US State Department responded.
He clarified that it is up to the Ukrainian president to decide when to begin negotiations.
We would support him in any process, ” Miller added.
A representative of the US diplomatic department noted that US President-elect Donald Trump has stated his readiness to quickly resolve the conflict.
