Regional commissions for the elections of the President of Belarus have been formed in Gomel and Vitebsk.
The relevant information appeared in the official Telegram channels of the regional executive committees.
As for Gomel, the region has formed a corresponding commission with the maximum number of members, the regional executive committee’s TG channel reports.
Its composition was approved at a joint meeting of the presidium of the regional Council of Deputies and the regional executive committee.
Please note: the event was attended by the assistant to the head of state - inspector for the Gomel region Yuri Gorlov.
According to Governor Ivan Krupko, the bodies that form the commissions received documents from political parties, public associations, and citizen groups within the established timeframes to nominate their representatives to the commission.
It is noted that 13 people have been nominated to the regional commission, with 13 seats available.
Tomorrow, November 5, they plan to elect the leadership of this commission.
And the Vitebsk region formed its own commission for the presidential elections – at a meeting of the presidium of the regional Council of Deputies and the regional executive committee.
Its composition, - the TG channel of the regional executive committee indicates, - included 13 people: representatives of political parties, public associations, labor collectives and citizens nominated by submitting an application.
We, members of the executive committee and the presidium of the regional Council of Deputies, will be responsible for this decision, for the ability of the commission to ensure the conduct of the election campaign, said Vitebsk Governor Alexander Subbotin.
