This was stated on November 18 by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the publication of the Bloomberg agency about the plans of the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to propose freezing the Ukrainian conflict at the G20 summit.

According to Bloomberg, the Turkish leader plans to propose at the G20 summit to freeze the Ukrainian conflict along the front line, create a demilitarized zone in the east of Donbass and deploy international troops there as an additional guarantee for Ukraine.

Ukraine will have to agree to postpone negotiations on joining the North Atlantic Alliance for at least 10 years in exchange for assistance in the form of military supplies.

What Peskov said about freezing the conflict in Ukraine

A Kremlin spokesman said that freezing the conflict along the front line is unacceptable for Russia.

According to Peskov, the conditions formulated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in June remain relevant.

This is what needs to be done to stop the fighting, said the press secretary of the head of the Russian state.

In June, Putin, in a speech at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, named the conditions for negotiations with Kiev. Among them are Ukraine's refusal to join NATO, Ukraine's non-aligned and non-nuclear status, the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbass and Novorossiya, and the lifting of sanctions.
