Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko commented on Polish President Andrzej Duda's refusal to take a "family photo" at the climate summit in Baku.
Lukashenko spoke on this topic while answering journalists’ questions during a visit to the renovated Traktor stadium in Minsk.
The president's statement is quoted by his press service .
Lukashenko noted that he would not have learned about this incident if Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov had not told him about it.
According to the president, Duda's refusal to take a "family photo" went unnoticed by other heads of state.
He sees that he was not noticed, and he started to promote himself by not going to be photographed. Well, don't go. Lord, who was waiting for you there! - the head of the Belarusian state declared.
He also commented on Duda's speech at the summit. According to Lukashenko, the Polish president spoke about how Poland protects flora and fauna, but did not mention the fence in Belovezhskaya Pushcha.
They cut down this Belovezhskaya Pushcha, and he talks about plants, the president said.
