Naryshkin warns of West's desire to destabilize situation in Belarus
The American CIA and the British MI-6 are seeking to destabilize the situation in Belarus ahead of the upcoming presidential elections in the republic.
For this purpose, these special services intend to use the Kalinovsky Regiment formation, which is recognized as a terrorist organization in the Republic of Belarus.
The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergei Naryshkin, issued this warning.
The CIA and MI6 are counting on using collaborators from the Kalinovsky Regiment to destabilize Belarus in view of the upcoming presidential elections next year, the TASS agency quotes the head of the SVR as saying.
According to him, the aforementioned nationalist group is currently fighting as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along with the Russian Volunteer Corps* and the Georgian Legion*.
