Lukashenko reached an agreement with Putin on three regions of Russia

Alexander Lukashenko stated that he had reached an agreement with Vladimir Putin on three Russian regions – Bryansk, Smolensk and Pskov.

Speaking in general about cooperation with Russia, he pointed out that in this matter the foundation of relations between the countries is the economy.

The head of state made this statement during a meeting with Smolensk Governor Vasily Anokhin.

By the way, he informed him that he considers it necessary to return the trade turnover between Belarus and the Smolensk region to its previous level – 5 billion dollars.

In addition, as reported by the President’s press service , he reported on the agreement reached with his Russian counterpart regarding three regions of the Russian Federation.

As Putin and I agreed, these three regions should be closely connected with Belarus – Bryansk, Smolensk, Pskov, Lukashenko said.

In addition, he added, St. Petersburg is located nearby – “a city that is native and familiar to Belarusians.”

According to the head of state, the leadership of the northern capital of Russia is ready to cooperate with Belarus in all areas.

He added that Minsk is ready to cooperate with the city of Moscow, “no matter how difficult it may be.”

They are ready to cooperate with us and buy everything we produce, the Belarusian leader noted.

And he also pointed out that even on Sakhalin, Belarusians work. All over Russia. But the basis, the President emphasized, is the regions of the Russian Federation neighboring Belarus.
