Lukashenko pardons 29 citizens convicted of extremism

It recently became known that Alexander Lukashenko pardoned 29 citizens previously convicted of extremist crimes.

It is reported that all 29 people repented of their actions and appealed to the President of Belarus for pardon.

In particular, such information was made public by the press service of the head of state.

It is specified that we are talking about 11 women and 18 men previously convicted of crimes of an extremist nature.

Among them, the press service notes, are six citizens under 25 years of age, three pensioners and two disabled people.

Another 15 pardoned people “have chronic illnesses,” the report says.

Please note: the Ministry of Internal Affairs will ensure control over the law-abiding behavior of the above-mentioned citizens.
