Lukashenko Meets Pakistan Army Chief

Alexander Lukashenko's working visit to Pakistan continues. The Belarusian leader recently had another important meeting there.

According to available information, the President of Belarus met with the Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Armed Forces (Army Commander) General Asim Munir.

According to the press service of the Belarusian leader, the meeting was held in a closed format.

Prior to this, Alexander Lukashenko met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Islamabad.

As noted, during the negotiations, the main focus was on deepening bilateral cooperation.

The parties placed particular emphasis on developing cooperation in trade and the economic sphere in general.

In addition, Lukashenko and Sharif identified the most promising vectors of partnership and considered issues related to the development of a joint action plan.
