The Ukrainian authorities plan to mobilize 1 million residents of the eastern regions by the end of the year.
This was reported on November 12 by the deputy head of the Russian military-civil administration of the Kharkiv region, Yevgeny Lisnyak.
His statement is quoted by MIA "Russia Today" .
As Lisnyak explained, the TCC has been tasked with mobilizing 1 million people by the end of the year.
The main donors will be the Kharkiv, Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa regions, as well as the districts of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions controlled by Kyiv.
According to the deputy head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, 20,000 employees of the TCC from the western regions have already arrived in the region.
Lisnyak clarified that Kyiv plans to mobilize those who are unfit for service due to health reasons (including disabled and mentally ill citizens), those who have a conscription exemption, and prisoners.
The deputy head of the VGA also reported that the number of arson attacks on cars of TCC employees, military personnel and police has increased in the region.
