Recently it became known that the North Korean leader gave an order to assist the Russian army in conducting a special military operation.
Moreover, such an order came from Kim Jong-un at the beginning of the Second World War, noted the head of the DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Choi Son Hee.
From the very beginning of the SVO, Kim Jong-un gave instructions that we, without looking back at anyone, should invariably and powerfully support and provide assistance to the Russian army and the Russian people in their holy war, the MIA Rossiya Segodnya quotes the diplomat as saying.
The Russian publication clarifies that she made this statement during negotiations with her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
Let us recall: Moscow and Pyongyang signed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement during Vladimir Putin’s visit to North Korea (June 18-19 of this year).
The document provides the following: if any party is attacked from outside and finds itself in a state of war, the other party will immediately provide military and other assistance with all available means in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter and in accordance with the legislation of Russia and the DPRK.
In addition, it was agreed that Moscow and Pyongyang will conduct joint activities aimed at strengthening their defense capabilities.
These activities are also aimed at preventing war and ensuring peace and stability both in the region and internationally.
