Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has described what happened in the West after Russia's recent launch of the Oreshnik ballistic missile.
According to the politician, the event made a certain impression on local officials.
This launch, the speaker noted, has made the entire West think. Orban hopes that they will hear calls for prudent and reasonable behavior.
He said that Moscow “has nevertheless launched weapons that were previously unknown.”
This demonstration of weapons made us all think. And I really hope that this will require caution not only from us, but also from Western Europe, - the head of the Hungarian government is quoted by MIA "Russia Today".
Orban also drew attention to the fact that the new missile is an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.
The Prime Minister said that he had familiarized himself with the technical parameters, and was so impressed that he said that he would not wish the consequences that could result from a strike by such a missile with a nuclear charge on anyone.
According to Orban, if Oreshnik is used with a nuclear charge, the conflict “will turn into a world war.”
