Today, November 16, marks exactly 30 years since Emomali Rahmon took office as head of the Tajik state.

In this regard, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko addressed his colleague from Tajikistan.

The Belarusian leader congratulated Rahmon and made several important statements.

What Lukashenko told Rahmon

As Lukashenko noted, Rahmon’s inauguration as President of Tajikistan was a fateful event for the republic.

The President of Belarus emphasized that after Rahmon took over the leadership of the Tajik state, stability and national unity returned to the Central Asian country.

Lukashenko noted that the leader of Tajikistan fulfilled his promise to the residents of the republic.

The head of the Belarusian state noted such qualities of Rahmon as courage and fortitude, and the politician’s considerable contribution to the development of Belarusian-Tajik relations.

Lukashenko reminded: the doors of Belarus are always open for the President of Tajikistan.

The Belarusian leader wished the Tajik statesman health and new achievements in his work.

Lukashenko wished peace and prosperity to the Tajik people.
