Historical justice. Lukashenko addressed Belarusians on November 7

On Thursday, November 7, Alexander Lukashenko addressed Belarusians and congratulated his compatriots on the Day of the October Revolution.

According to him, the events of the autumn of 1917 led to the world hearing “the voice of the people, boldly and openly declaring their centuries-old dream.”

The announcement of the creation of the Socialist Soviet Republic of Belarus was truly a triumph of historical justice , the head of state was quoted as saying by his press service.

The message draws attention to the fact that love for the Fatherland, hard work and unity helped the ancestors of Belarusians to endure the trials that befell them.

Thanks to these three factors, the author of the congratulations continues, the people defended the right to “live freely on their native land.”

Now, in the 21st century, Belarusians, having chosen their own path, retain the “enduring landmarks of the Soviet era.”

The President included among these the ideals of social equality and humanism, as well as the values of peace and friendship among peoples.

Protecting what our predecessors achieved, inspired by their exploits, we are confidently writing a new page in the thousand-year chronicle of the Belarusian people, he noted.

Alexander Lukashenko wished his fellow countrymen health, prosperity and success in all their endeavors.
