It has recently become clear that the absolute majority of Belarusian residents trust the President of the Republic, Alexander Lukashenko.

This follows from the data obtained during the sociological study “Factors of Sustainable Development”.

The survey was conducted by the EcooM analytical center from October 1 to 21 of this year.

As Belta reports , citing the director of the center, Sergei Musienko, 1,580 citizens were surveyed during the study.

The respondents were women and men, people of different ages, with different levels of education, living in different regions and localities.

The statistical sampling error does not exceed 2.5%, the researchers say.

Belarusians were asked to answer the following question: “To what extent do you trust the President of the Republic of Belarus?”

It turned out that 80.4% of respondents trust the head of state, while 13.6% said that they “rather do not trust than trust.”

Six percent of the study participants found it difficult to answer the question.

This is a very high level of trust. And it is determined by specific actions, the events that are happening inside the country, the reaction to external challenges and threats, Musienko commented on the results of the social survey.
