Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has revealed the contents of a recent telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The talk was about a ceasefire in Ukraine, the Serbian leader said in an interview with Bloomberg.
The conversation between the Serbian and Russian presidents took place the Sunday before last, October 20.
In the conversation, the Serbian president raised the issue of a ceasefire. The Russian president, according to Vucic, showed no interest.
As he said, all the goals of the SVO will be achieved, the Serbian leader recounted Putin’s answer.
In the interview, Vucic also expressed the opinion that the proposal for a ceasefire should come from the future US president.

The Serbian president's call to Putin was related to the BRICS summit in Kazan. Vucic did not participate in the event; Serbia was represented by government members.
The Kremlin press service reported that the heads of state discussed the Ukrainian conflict and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade.
