The Central Electoral Commission of Belarus accepts documents for the registration of citizens' initiative groups to nominate presidential candidates until November 1 inclusive.
The Secretary of the Central Election Commission, Elena Baldovskaya, reminded us of this.
Her statement is cited by BELTA .
Baldovskaya reminded that the Central Election Commission accepts documents until November 1 inclusive.
There is still time to submit a full package of documents, the CEC secretary noted.
She also recalled that the CEC website contains a memo for persons nominated as candidates and sample applications.
Earlier it was reported that the Central Election Commission registered the initiative group of the current President Alexander Lukashenko and refused to register the groups of Yuri Gubarevich and Alexander Drozdov.
As the Central Election Commission explained, Gubarevich sent the documents by email, and Drozdov did not provide a list of the group members.
