Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the opening of the first plant of the German defense concern Rheinmetall in Ukraine.
The politician's comment was published on his Telegram channel.
Today, Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger announced the opening of the concern’s first plant in Ukraine.
In total, the concern plans to open 4 enterprises in Ukraine.
The first plant is already ready. The second is on its way, Papperger said.
According to him, the company currently services tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, but by the end of the year it will be able to assemble the Lynx IFV.
Commenting on this information, Medvedev promised to arrange a fireworks display at the plant.
