Lukashenko told when Kursk region might be liberated

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expects the liberation of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation and progress in negotiations by the end of December.

The head of state stated this in an interview with the Russian publication Izvestia on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Kazan.

What Lukashenko said about Kursk region and negotiations

The President stated that Kyiv’s “Kursk adventure” had seriously changed the situation.

According to him, Russia is confidently advancing on the front, including in the Kursk region, and the West sees this.

Let's hope that by the end of December the Kursk region will be liberated. And there will be some progress in terms of negotiations, Lukashenko said.

The head of state stressed that Belarus is ready to act in this direction.

Speaking about his recent negotiations with Western representatives, Lukashenko noted that they already realize that the war is the fault of both sides.

They said yes, we agree. Both sides need to take the blame here, the president said.

The head of state did not specify with which countries the negotiations took place.

We agreed that these are closed negotiations, Lukashenko explained.
