Lukashenko announced a crisis in the work of the special services of many countries
Today, October 25, marks exactly 30 years since the formation of the Security Service of the President of Belarus.
In connection with this, a ceremonial meeting was held.
Belarusian state leader Alexander Lukashenko took part in the event.
The President noted the professionalism of the Service’s employees, expressed gratitude to them and presented awards to some of them.
Lukashenko on the crisis in the work of special services of some states
During his speech, Lukashenko spoke about the shortcomings he saw in the work of foreign intelligence agencies.
The head of state drew attention to the following fact: at the moment there are many hot conflicts in the world, due to which a change in the security architecture is observed.
The risks and threats, according to the Belarusian leader, are becoming more serious.
In such conditions, as the President noted, certain problems became noticeable:
The crisis is also clearly visible in the work of the special services of many countries, the presidential press service quotes Alexander Lukashenko as saying.
The head of the Belarusian state gave two examples.
Firstly, in 2024, there were multiple attempts on the life of Donald Trump, the former head of the White House and current candidate for the post of American leader, in the United States.
Secondly, in Slovakia, an assassination attempt was made on Robert Fico, the head of the country's government. And this happened despite the fact that the politician had personal security nearby.
Therefore, the greatest value of the Security Service is its military team, Lukashenko noted.
