The next presidential elections will be held in our country on January 26, 2025.
Earlier, the current head of the Belarusian state, Alexander Lukashenko, confirmed his possibility of participating in these elections.
And just recently it became known who else is a possible candidate.
Thus, Oleg Gaidukevich decided to run for President, reports the Telegram channel "ZhS Premium".
The politician announced that he had decided to participate in the presidential elections.
Gaidukevich is nominated as a candidate for the post of head of state by the political force of which he is the leader. We are talking about the Liberal Democratic Party.
The politician plans to form an initiative group and collect signatures.
What Gaidukevich said after he announced his participation in the elections
The politician made a statement that “Western centers” hate Alexander Lukashenko.
Gaidukevich explained the hatred of Western representatives towards the current head of state as follows: Lukashenko preserved Belarus and its sovereignty. Moreover, the Belarusian leader strengthened the republic.
The head of the LDPR admitted: he wants Western representatives to be “sickened” by every candidate for the post of head of the Belarusian state.
Gaidukevich is confident that only patriots should be among the candidates for the highest government post, so that the West will realize that there is “nothing to gain” in Belarus.
The politician stressed that his nomination as a presidential candidate is connected with the desire to strengthen the country.
