The corresponding statement was made by Igor Karpenko, Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Belarus.

Presidential elections in Belarus
The elections scheduled for January 26 next year will be the seventh presidential election in the history of Belarus.

In the last elections, 80.1 percent of citizens who visited polling stations voted for the current head of state.
