How Peskov commented on Zelensky's peace plan

The Kremlin representative noted that he had not yet seen or heard the Ukrainian president’s speech in the Verkhovna Rada.

Most likely, this is the same American plan to fight us to the last Ukrainian, said the press secretary of the head of the Russian state.

According to Peskov, the real peace plan for Ukraine will be Kiev’s recognition of the futility of its policy.

Today, the President of Ukraine presented his plan for victory in the Rada, which he shared with US President Joseph Biden at the end of September.

The plan has five points. Among them is an invitation to Ukraine to join the North Atlantic Alliance until the end of the conflict, lifting restrictions on strikes deep into the Russian Federation, and the deployment of a “non-nuclear deterrent package” in Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that a ceasefire in Ukraine is impossible without Kyiv’s consent to irreversible steps acceptable to Moscow.

Following the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, the Russian president called negotiations impossible with those who strike civilian infrastructure and peaceful citizens.

Putin aide Yuri Ushakov later said that Russia's peace proposals had not been cancelled, but that Moscow would not negotiate with Kiev at this stage.
