Rutte: New NATO HQ for Ukraine Will Bring Changes on the Battlefield

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said the new NATO headquarters for Ukraine would bring changes on the battlefield.

The NATO Secretary General made this statement while speaking to the military in Wiesbaden.

Rutte's words are quoted by the alliance's press service.

What Rutte said about changes on the battlefield

At the July NATO summit in Washington, it was decided to strengthen the alliance's coordinating role in supporting Ukraine.

The summit also decided to establish a new NATO headquarters in Wiesbaden.

The headquarters will assume the US functions of coordinating arms supplies to Ukraine.

Speaking in Wiesbaden, the NATO Secretary General noted that the new command will strengthen the alliance's security.

He said that this new command will lead to changes on the battlefield in Ukraine, the alliance's press service quotes Rutte as saying.
