The Italian publication Corriere della Sera recently reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to freeze the conflict along the front line without recognizing territorial losses in exchange for membership in the European Union and US security guarantees.

Today, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that such concessions are unacceptable.

The Ukrainian diplomatic mission emphasized that the only realistic path to a peaceful settlement is Zelensky's peace formula, based on the imperative of fully restoring the country's territorial integrity and respect for the United Nations Charter.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry noted that preparations for the second peace summit are ongoing, and a number of thematic meetings on the points of the peace formula have been held.

The department clarified that the victory plan proposed by Zelensky is not a replacement for the peace formula, but a practical tool for its implementation.

Our goal is not a fictitious peace, but a comprehensive, fair and sustainable peace, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry emphasized.
