The Kremlin has commented on the offensive statement made by US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris about Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The press secretary of the Russian head of state, Dmitry Peskov, stated that insults directed at Putin have become part of American political culture.
The statement by the Kremlin representative is quoted by MIA "Russia Today" .
The US Vice President called the Russian President a "killer dictator."
Harris made this statement while criticizing former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump over data cited in a new book by American journalist Bob Woodward.
According to him, Trump repeatedly called Putin after leaving the US presidency. The Kremlin denied this information.
Apparently, such a lexicon is now part of the political culture of the American establishment, said the press secretary of the head of the Russian state.
Peskov noted that Putin has never stooped to offensive rhetoric directed at anyone.
Even towards the leaders of unfriendly states, ” the Kremlin representative added.
