The head of state made the corresponding statement on October 8 at a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State in Moscow.
The president's words are quoted by his press service .
The head of state stated that it would be very good if Georgia and Ukraine returned to the “CIS family,” and Moldova resumed full-fledged participation.
I am absolutely sure that this will happen. It is just a matter of time, the president added.
Lukashenko stressed that countries should value what they have in the CIS.
He noted that all those who remained in the CIS are demonstrating decent results.
We have not lost control of our country, ” the head of state noted.
He suggested thinking about how to use the potential of regional integration more effectively.
According to the president, a strong union of strong and economically self-sufficient sovereign countries is needed.
The head of state also stated the need to respect national interests and create equal conditions.
Much has already been done, but there is still room for improvement, Lukashenko added.
