Armenia did not join two statements at the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers in Moscow

On October 7, a meeting of the Council of Heads of Foreign Affairs of the CIS countries was held in Moscow, which preceded the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS.

Following the meeting of the heads of the foreign policy departments of the Commonwealth countries, it became known that Armenia refused to join the two final statements.

Following the meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council held yesterday in Moscow, Armenia did not join two statements, MIA " Russia Today " reports with reference to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

It follows from the message that official Yerevan refused to join the statements “On the principles of ensuring Eurasian security” and “On the inadmissibility of the use of unilateral restrictive measures in international relations.”

At the meeting, the heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth countries adopted joint statements:

- on the inadmissibility of the use of unilateral restrictive measures in international relations,

- on cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports.

Let us recall that the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS countries took place on Monday, October 7.

Today a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS will take place in Moscow.
