Alexander Lukashenko named his main task as President of Belarus.

According to him, it is about preventing the country from being drawn into war.

The head of state announced this during a conversation with residents of the agro-town of Parokhonsk in the Pinsk district of the Brest region.

He noted that it should be understood that “we are at the front,” since there is a war going on nearby, “behind the fence.”

My main task is to prevent Belarus from being drawn into this fight, into this war, the Belarusian leader’s press service quotes him as saying.

Lukashenko also said that Minsk will do everything to peacefully coexist with Ukraine.

The President added that contacts with Ukrainians are maintained through certain channels.

He reported that humanitarian issues, including the health of children, are also being discussed, but politics is more important for Kyiv.

Alexander Lukashenko, addressing all Belarusians, called on them to be proud of their history, so as not to become Ivans who do not remember their kinship.
