NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that changes in Russia's nuclear doctrine do not require changes in NATO policy.
The head of the organization made this statement in an interview with Reuters, as reported by TUT. NEWS .
The NATO Secretary General stated that Russia did not make any changes to the document that would require changes in the alliance’s policy.
He called on NATO countries not to succumb to Russia's alleged nuclear rhetoric and to continue providing assistance to Ukraine.
Stoltenberg noted that Russia has repeatedly tried unsuccessfully to prevent the build-up of aid to Ukraine in the form of new types of weapons.
And this latest example will not prevent NATO allies from helping Ukraine, the organization’s leader said.
Speaking about the transfer of long-range missiles to Ukraine, Stoltenberg noted that there is no magic bullet that would change everything on the battlefield.
