Volodin: NATO is waging war on Russia
Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin stated that the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance are waging a war with the Russian Federation.
This is how the speaker of the lower house of the Russian parliament commented on the discussion by Western countries of the possibility of striking Russia with long-range weapons.
What Volodin said about NATO's war with Russia
The State Duma speaker stated that the discussion by the US, Great Britain, France and Germany of the possibility of striking Russia is an attempt to hide their direct participation in military actions.
According to Volodin, the US and its allies are essentially trying to allow themselves to carry out acts of aggression against the Russian Federation using missiles.
In parallel with this, the State Duma speaker noted, the US Department of Defense is analyzing the possible consequences of a nuclear explosion.
All this, Volodin continued, is direct evidence that NATO is fighting under the guise of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The State Duma speaker noted that previously these were instructors and advisers, now they are mercenaries and entire units with NATO weapons.
According to him, they coordinate military actions, give orders, and determine which Russian cities to attack.
NATO has become a participant in military actions in Ukraine. They are waging a war against our country, Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said at a press conference with Ukrainian and British Foreign Ministers Andriy Sybiha and David Lammy that Washington is taking into account the possibility of escalation due to discussions with Ukrainian authorities about launching strikes deep into Russia using Western weapons.
