Recently, there was a televised debate between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris, who are hoping to become US president.

It turned out that the former very often mentioned Russia and its leader Vladimir Putin in his speeches.

According to TASS , Trump, who had previously led America, mentioned Russia 10 times and Vladimir Putin 6 times.

Trump was said to have been referring to the Russian president when he again tried to reassure the public that there would have been no conflicts in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip under his presidency.

Russia was also mentioned by him at times in critical statements addressed to the current head of the American state, Joe Biden.

Trump, according to him, does not like the fact that Washington has no contacts with Moscow on the issue of settling the Ukrainian conflict.

He mentioned Putin again when he said he did not believe Russia had threatened his country with nuclear weapons.
