What Peskov said about the lack of preconditions for resolving the conflict in Ukraine

Commenting on the statement by the head of the German government, Olaf Scholz, that the time has come for negotiations, Peskov stated that the preconditions for resolving the conflict by peaceful means are not yet evident.

He noted that statements about negotiations are being made from European countries, but not from the country that “conducts the collective West.”

The Kremlin spokesman noted that the Kremlin knows no more about the German chancellor’s peace plan than what has been reported in the media.

We are not dismissing any plans in advance, but we need to understand what we are talking about, ” added the press secretary of the head of the Russian state.

Earlier, the Italian publication La Repubblica reported that Scholz was preparing his own plan for resolving the conflict, which does not exclude the transfer of part of Ukrainian territory to Russia.
