Alexander Lukashenko addressed North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
The reason for this was the national holiday celebrated by Pyongyang – the Day of the Foundation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
The President of Belarus congratulated the Chairman of State Affairs of the DPRK on this event, his press service reports .
The text of the message notes that throughout its history, the people of North Korea have constantly proven “the inviolability of their collective will and desire for independence.”
According to Lukashenko, the entire planet is witnessing how the DPRK “proudly follows the path of independent development.”
The Belarusian leader also points to a trend of significant intensification of dialogue between Minsk and Pyongyang at all levels.
He is confident that both countries will soon achieve significant progress on the issue of organizing practical cooperation in agriculture, medicine, education and some other areas.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Kim Jong-un health and success in his professional activities, and the people of his country – progress, stability and prosperity.
