Alexander Lukashenko addressed the King of Eswatini (until 2018, the African country was known as Swaziland) Mswati III.
The reason for this was the Independence Day celebrated in the named state of the Black Continent.
On this important event for local residents, the Belarusian leader, on his own behalf and on behalf of the people of Belarus, congratulated the king and all Eswatini.
Lukashenko “noted with satisfaction” the fact that this year marks the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Also, as reported by the press service of the head of state, attention is drawn to the intensification of interaction between states.
He recalled that the Prime Minister of Eswatini, who visited Belarus in June 2024, was “demonstrated the economic potential” of the republic.
In addition, Mr. Russell Dlamini was offered “specific cooperation projects” in various areas, including agriculture, industry, healthcare, education, etc.
The message indicates that Minsk is ready to implement these projects as soon as possible.
According to Lukashenko, their implementation will lay a solid foundation for interstate relations and will help Eswatini achieve its goals within the framework of the country's social and economic development.
The President also invited the King to visit Belarus on an official visit, during which it will be possible to discuss current issues of partnership and joint plans for the future.
The head of state wished Mswati III health and fruitful work, and the people of the kingdom peace and progress.
