The North Atlantic Alliance is discussing the possibility of Ukrainian Armed Forces launching long-range missile strikes on Russia.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced this on September 5.
His statement was quoted by Reuters.
Stoltenberg said that there is a discussion within NATO about the Ukrainian army launching long-range missile strikes.
It is important that Ukraine has the ability to reach military facilities on Russian territory, the head of the organization said.
He noted that he was pleased by the decision of many countries in the alliance to allow such strikes.
Speaking about the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region of Russia, Stoltenberg said that it is difficult to predict further developments.
