The administration of US President Joseph Biden is going to accuse Russia of interfering in the presidential election.
The American television channel CNN reports this, citing sources.
According to CNN, the White House will make a public statement today accusing Russia of trying to influence the election.
In addition, the US Department of Justice intends to announce measures to counter Russia's influence on the elections.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the presidential elections in the United States will be won by the person chosen by the American people, and Russia’s job is to observe and not interfere.
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 5. The Republican Party has nominated former President Donald Trump as its candidate.
Biden was supposed to represent the Democratic Party, but after failing to win the debate with Trump, he decided to drop out of the race and supported the candidacy of Vice President Kamala Harris.
