Kirby recalled that 10 days ago Washington announced the provision of another package of military aid to Ukraine.

More will be provided in the coming weeks, he added, without specifying what exactly would be sent.

On August 23, the US Department of Defense announced a new $125 million aid package for Ukraine, including HIMARS ammunition and artillery shells.

Since the beginning of the Central Military District, Washington has allocated over $55.7 billion to Kyiv for military purposes.
