Russia will change its nuclear doctrine based on an analysis of the conflicts of recent years and the West's actions in connection with the special operation in Ukraine.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Ryabkov.
His statement is quoted by TASS .
As the Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry explained, the adjustment of the nuclear doctrine is in an advanced stage.
According to him, the doctrine is being adjusted based on an analysis of the conflicts of recent years and the West’s actions in connection with the NWO.
The deputy minister noted that it is too early to name specific dates.
We are talking about the most important aspects of ensuring our national security, Ryabkov emphasized.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that the nuclear doctrine is a living instrument that can be changed if necessary.
He emphasized that Russia assumes that it will not come to an exchange of nuclear strikes.
Earlier, Ryabkov noted that the West’s actions raise the question of bringing Russia’s nuclear doctrine into line with needs.
According to the Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the West’s actions have seriously exacerbated the foreign policy situation, and Russia is continuously analyzing the extent to which its documents in the area of nuclear deterrence correspond to these challenges.
According to the 2020 Fundamentals of the State Policy of Russia in the Field of Nuclear Deterrence, the use of nuclear weapons is possible in the event of the use by the enemy of nuclear or other weapons of mass destruction against Russia and its allies; receipt of reliable information about the launch of ballistic missiles to attack the Russian Federation and its allies; aggression against the Russian Federation using conventional weapons that threatens the existence of the country; the enemy's impact on facilities necessary for retaliatory actions of nuclear forces.
