Why a dog doesn't run to meet its owner from work: it doesn't mean it's not bored

A dog's reaction to being reunited with its beloved owner cannot always be predicted.

Some pets literally go crazy at the sight of their loved one.

They run in circles, bark loudly, jump, or, on the contrary, lie on their backs and wriggle with joy.

Sometimes your pets can't wait to shower you with kisses, or more accurately, to lick your face heartily.

In such a situation, there is nothing left to do but stand calmly and wait until the storm of emotions subsides.

But there are other animals: they will not even raise their heads from the pillow on which they were dozing, having heard that the owner has crossed the threshold of the apartment.

This behavior can't help but make you think that your pet wasn't really bored while you were away.

Or maybe he doesn't love you at all?

Of course not: if a dog doesn’t move its tail after a short (or long) separation, this doesn’t mean at all that it doesn’t have warm feelings for you.

The reason for such feigned indifference may be hidden in the character of the pet.

Plus, some pets get used to being separated over time. They know they don't have to put on a show to get the cuddles they want.

Moreover, animals often not only do not rush to meet their owners, but hide from them. This is a kind of game: the dog probably wants to be found. Therefore, as soon as you enter the house, quickly go in search of your four-legged friend to give him some attention.
