Crush the medicine and sprinkle it into food
If the tablets do not have an unpleasant taste, the animal will swallow them with pleasure in this form. However, if you feed your pet exclusively dry food, this method will not work for you.
Important: Before using this trick, consult your veterinarian - some medications should not be crushed.
Dissolve in water
The crushed tablet can be dissolved in liquid and then given to the cat to drink, after wrapping it in a soft blanket to protect it from sharp claws.
Mask with a special paste
If the medication cannot be mixed with food or water, purchase a special masking paste. This product has a smell and taste that is attractive to cats. Carefully coat the medication with the paste and offer it to the animal.
Use a pillbox
This device looks like a syringe. The pill is placed in a special rubber tip and fixed, and when the owner puts the pillbox in the cat's mouth, he needs to press the plunger, and the medicine goes into the throat.
