Fleas are primarily the cause of painful and itchy bites, and they are also carriers of viruses and bacterial infections.
If you notice these parasites “on top” of your pet, take immediate steps to eliminate them – they will not disappear on their own.
You can do this by giving your pet a bath.
Before using a special flea shampoo, you should consult with your veterinarian, as such formulations are aggressive and dry out the animal's skin. Instead, try using regular mild soap.
Take the animal to the bath and start washing from the head, gradually moving down the body. Be careful, as the fleas will start jumping in different directions, and be careful not to pour water into the ears of the cat or dog.
Lather your pet until white foam forms. Continue massaging Murka's or Bobik's fur and skin - do this for about 10 minutes to be sure that there are no flea eggs left on the animal's body.
Finally, rinse your pet with warm water to remove the soap and dry his fur.
