If you become the owner of a kitten, you will have to figure out a lot of questions - how to feed and play with the pet, where it should sleep, how to train the baby to use the toilet and, of course, how to punish the animal.
There are only two appropriate punishments for a kitten.
This method will work especially effectively if you are dealing with a sociable animal.
Let's look at an example: if a cat, while playing, painfully bites your finger, stop playing and do your own thing. As a result, the kitten will understand that the game will only be played according to the owner's rules.
This option should be used for teenage kittens who actively demonstrate their disagreement and try to gain a higher status in the family hierarchy.
Take the cat by the scruff (carefully, so as not to injure it) and press it to the floor. Hold the fidget in this position until the kitten stops resisting and meowing.
Let us repeat: this method of indicating an animal's place in the pack cannot be used in relation to those cats that already demonstrate submission.
Previously we talked about how to recognize ringworm in a cat.
