To ensure a full and quality sleep, it is necessary to create the most comfortable conditions.
A cat that constantly tosses and turns in an attempt to create a cozy sleeping corner for itself is unlikely to contribute to this, and sometimes, for example, when it brazenly climbs on its owner, it even interferes.
In addition, cats, despite their exceptional cleanliness, are carriers of some infectious diseases (for example, toxoplasmosis) and can carry dirt on their paws.
Therefore, for the sake of hygiene, it is better to ensure that your pet has its own sleeping place.
It can look like a basket with a soft mattress, a house, a bed, etc.
You can even find special heated mats for cats that are particularly sensitive to the cold.
If all of the above does not bother you, you can sleep next to a cat without fear, but you should still follow a number of rules.
1. Vaccinate your cat on time.
2. Treat your pet against fleas (using shampoos, sprays, collars and other means).
3. Be sure to deworm your animal: stray cats – once every 3-4 months, domestic cats – 1-2 times a year.
4. Wash your cat's paws after using the litter box and upon returning from outside, and don't forget to bathe it completely occasionally.
And finally: even if all these rules are followed, it is highly recommended not to allow cats into the bed of small children.
