Try to block your cat's access to the kitchen or dining room where you eat and cook by closing the door and not reacting to the sounds your pet makes.
Feed the animal
You may want to review your pet's diet to make sure he is getting enough food.
If your cat is still asking for food, it may not be getting enough calories from its regular diet.
